History of handbag is begun to create. Its beginning is old leather crafts, which are developed from the Middle Ages. From guild of saddlery till the guild of bookbindery and makers of cases. In XVI century handbags were a significant part of clothing.
From now every peeper will be able to observe how handbag borns in our centre, also he will be able to try his creativeness and to create delightful accessories, decorations or nice souvenir from leather. We seek, that people would feel joy of creation and that they would divide this feeling between family members. The objective of our centre is to stimulate people to look more closely to best things which we had in the past, and to interest youth in these things. Traditions are not only hereditary, they are also creative: thanks to old successors of technologies of lether craft today we can joy of more lively works, which will be transfered to forthcoming generations", - director and designer Irena Serapiniene says the objective of new centre of crafts and arts.
