History and presentation of activity
Workshops of texture painting had developed in Lithuania from long-ago and they belonged to the guild of textile workers. One of the oldest techniques of variegation of textures is batik, when hot wax is used for painting. This method put Lithuanians in mind of well known variegation of Easter eggs when wax is used for this process.
Trends of activity of studio gallery are these: creative process, educational programme, participation in fairs, popularization of craft. The novelty is artistical presentation of works of flax: stitched tableclothes, serviettes, handbags.
